Dreams

Here I sit thinking of you
Wondering what to do
We are so far apart
But you have a piece of my heart

Dreaming of that day
When things will be ok
Wanting to hold you next to me
That is the way that it should be

But It Seems
That these are dreams

What is the plan
I can't understand

How two people from different places
Haven't even touched each other faces
Can have a connection so tight
One that can feel so right

To walk hand in hand
Near the ocean in the sand
To feel your touch
I want to it so much

To Taste your lips
Put my arms around your hips
It is all in a dream that can be true
For now I will just dream of you

Valentines is coming soon.   This is also my anniversary.   I sent this poem to my wife when I was courting her.   Hopefully you will find it will find a place in your heart like it has mine.   She was a dream that came true.   So, whatever you do don't give up on your dreams.   Dreams are the fuel for our innovations and makes this world go round.   Dreams help us to get up the next day and take the one more chance.   Without dreams we have nothing.   So, Dream, Dream, Dream and live.
